We are now looking for a Material Planner for production in Järfälla. The main focus of the assignment is to actively lead and contribute to the work of ensuring the right material availability to meet increased production volumes.

In addition to the operational responsibility, you will work analytically to improve material planning and flows in order to reduce lead times, lower costs, and increase efficiency. The role involves broad cross-functional collaboration and significant opportunities to influence working methods and processes.

Your role will include, among other things:

• Participating in and being involved in upcoming purchasing needs in new development projects

• Optimizing and continuously adjusting material control parameters for high service levels at the lowest possible cost

• Ensuring that the right material is in the right place at the right time

• Identifying obsolete material for disposal

• Reviewing and streamlining the entire flow from purchasing to delivery together with planning and purchasing

• Escalating to purchasing for suppliers who do not deliver according to plan to production

• Optimizing and digitizing workflows in IFS

• Contributing improvement suggestions to further develop the material planner role

• Actively contributing to achieving the company's and department's goals

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• Experience in manufacturing industry

• Good understanding of material flows, inventory management, and delivery reliability

• Experience with business systems, preferably IFS

• Ability to work both operationally and analytically

• A structured working method and a habit of taking personal responsibility

The role requires flexibility and the ability to think innovatively in a changing everyday environment. You are social, communicative, and solution-oriented with a clear drive forward.
