Bostadsbolaget has approximately 25,000 rental apartments distributed across all districts of Gothenburg. This makes us one of Gothenburg's largest landlords and an important part of community and urban development.

We are about 400 people working at Bostadsbolaget. Most work in our residential areas closest to our tenants, while others work centrally in one of our support functions. We have more than 20 different professions represented, but regardless of job role, we all work towards the same goal - to create good and secure living environments together with around 50,000 tenants and our other partners.

About the job

As a Safety Officer at Bostadsbolaget, you will work in a team with colleagues and at least one group leader who leads the work. Your main tasks are to patrol the area, at the right place at the right time based on Bostadsbolaget's situational picture. In this way, you create safety and good relationships with our tenants and others operating in the areas. You will work with safety, relationship building, service, and maintenance in various forms.

The working hours are from 3 PM to 11 PM on both weekends and weekdays. Those working as safety officers are not allowed to work in the area where they live.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a high school education, and if you have a post-secondary education, it is an advantage. Since the work places high demands on contributing to safety-enhancing measures and initiatives, we expect you to have a trustworthy demeanor that helps create good relationships with residents in the area and with your colleagues. Therefore, the job also requires that you enjoy meeting people and have an easy time creating new contacts.

You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You start from everyone's equal value and create a good atmosphere in the meeting. You have an open and positive attitude with the residents' best interests in focus. This means that you take responsibility for your own and the common tasks to create the best conditions for your joint work.

We would like you to speak several languages, with Swedish in both spoken and written form being a requirement. We place great importance on personal suitability, as the role involves a high degree of personal responsibility and work ethic.
