Lekstorpsskolan is a K-9 school currently with about 420 students. The school is located in Gråbo, Lerum Municipality, and is a very picturesque part of the municipality.

The after-school program is divided into two departments (K-1 and 2-5) that jointly plan the teaching and themes that the after-school activities work with.

The after-school program works systematically with the central content and the skills that students should be given the opportunity to develop. There is collegial learning and exchange during planning and analysis of results. We are now looking for someone who wants to join our work community and contribute to the continued development of our after-school program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in the after-school program and, together with other educators, be responsible for conducting teaching and moving the program forward based on governing documents and the school's overall goals. We work from a holistic view of each student's learning and development, where teaching, support, and safety are our guiding principles.

The after-school program is conducted in our new building with good conditions for learning, creativity, and other thematic activities. The after-school program has access to a gym and a home economics room.

Our schoolyard invites play and movement, and the after-school program works based on the learning of the schoolyard and conducts recess activities during school hours.

The school is adjacent to a forest that we like to visit during school and after-school hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in the after-school program.

We seek someone who has the ability to take initiative and has clear leadership in their role as an educator and who can create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

If you have qualifications in other subjects, it is an advantage.
