Do you have experience in resource planning and capacity planning within service, planning, or logistics? Manpower is now looking for a capacity planner for Siemens Energy in Finspång for a consulting assignment. In the role of capacity planner, you will be responsible for both capacity and operational planning - from global capacity overview to daily coordination of field service efforts worldwide. About the job as a capacity planner
As a capacity planner, you will become a key person in Siemens Energy's field service operations. You are responsible for ensuring that the right skills are available at the right place at the right time - both strategically and operationally. You will work closely with regional teams globally to balance resource load and optimize project efficiency. The team you will join consists of about 33 colleagues in various functions such as preparation, visa, invoicing, and field service - an engaged and international group working together to deliver high quality and create customer value.
Examples of tasks:
- Create and maintain capacity plans in the short, medium, and long term based on the master plan.
- Balance and plan resources both operationally and strategically for site jobs worldwide.
- Monitor occupancy in real-time and act on over- or under-capacity.
- Coordinate with internal and external interfaces, including international contacts and regions.
- Ensure data quality and follow-up in systems such as SAP, Salesforce/FSL, and Primavera.
- Conduct scenario runs, prepare decision support, and drive planning meetings.
- Contribute to onboarding and knowledge sharing for trainees.
The candidate we are looking for
We are looking for someone who thrives in a central planning role with many points of contact and who wants to combine analysis, structure, and communication to create the best possible delivery. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and confident in prioritizing when the pace is high.
We believe you have:
- Experience in service, planning, and/or logistics.
- Strong analytical skills, good structure, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize under time pressure and drive improvements.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- It is an advantage if you also have:
- Post-secondary education in logistics, planning, or equivalent.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Knowledge/experience of SAP, Salesforce (preferably FSL), and Primavera.
