About the assignment:

As a computational engineer, you will be part of a project team driving the development of new products and solutions within the aerospace industry. You will work with sizing, verification, and method development, where your expertise in solid mechanics and numerical analysis is crucial to ensure robust and sustainable designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Modeling and simulation of complex geometries for thermal analyses

  • Conduct thermal and network analyses of engines and engine components

  • Develop and implement analysis methods and internal tools (Python, MatLab)

  • Support the design team in optimizing products against set goals

  • Establish loads to be used as input in structural analyses

  • Work on method development and validation of computational models against real data

The role also involves taking clear technical responsibility, which requires a genuine interest in jet engines and thermodynamics.

We believe you have:

  • A Master's degree in aerospace, engineering physics, or another relevant engineering field.

  • 2–5+ years of experience as a computational engineer/CAE engineer.

  • Previous experience in method validation and component design through testing, defining measurement instruments, test support, and data analysis.

  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
