The Role of Psychologist

As a psychologist with us, you will work with assessment, investigation, and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. The work is carried out in interdisciplinary teams that include psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists. The job also involves collaboration with other healthcare providers and organizations.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, during the day, and the position is a permanent employment.

Your Future Workplace

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic is a regional clinic consisting of three outpatient units in Nässjö, Värnamo, and Jönköping. In Jönköping, there is also an inpatient department and a day care department for anorexia treatment. We have about 120 employees in various professions providing psychiatric specialist care to children and adolescents in 13 municipalities in the region. In our work, we meet children and adolescents aged 0-17 and their adults.

Your Profile

To apply for the position, you must have a degree in psychology with completed PTP and obtained license. Good knowledge of Swedish in writing and speaking is required for the role. Experience working with children and adolescents, as well as DBT, is an advantage.
