The Role of the Nurse

The orthopedic outpatient clinic at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping is now looking for a nurse with surgical nursing competence. With us, you will participate as a surgical nurse in the surgical activities carried out at the orthopedic outpatient clinic. You will also work with telephone counseling and have your own wound care clinic. Additionally, you will assist in the doctor's office, help with surgical planning, and perform other nursing tasks. You will also actively participate in the improvement work we carry out at the clinic.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon. Working hours are during office hours, and you will also have shorter working days on Fridays.

Your Future Workplace

The orthopedic department at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping is the largest orthopedic clinic in the region. We offer treatment and care for orthopedic diseases. The clinic is divided into general orthopedics, spine orthopedics (neuro-orthopedic center), and pediatric orthopedics (pediatric orthopedic regional center). The region's shoulder prosthetic surgery is also centralized here.

The orthopedic clinic has an exciting operation that is constantly evolving, and we work for quality, competence, and respect in all interactions. About 150 people from many different professions work here – you will meet orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, nurses, nursing assistants, medical administrators, plaster technicians, and kitchen assistants. Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with surgical nursing education who wants to work in our exciting operation. We prefer that you have worked a few years in inpatient care and have prior experience with Cosmic and wound care. If you have experience in orthopedic operations, we see it as an advantage.

As a person, you are organized and plan your work efficiently. A lot can happen during a workday, and therefore you also need to be adaptable to new conditions and able to prioritize your work in situations where the pace is sometimes high and changes are rapid.

You communicate clearly with others, find it easy to collaborate, and enjoy patient contact. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
