We are now looking for care assistants for the home care team Mossle and Gröndal.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious care assistant who strives to provide safe patient care.

We have a total of three teams within the same management area, and work in all teams occurs. We seek individuals with great commitment, teamwork skills, a sense of responsibility, flexibility, and a proactive attitude. You should be a positive person who finds working with people stimulating. We want you to be communicative and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, as a large part of the work consists of ensuring our clients are understood and have their needs met.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

To provide care and service centered around the user's needs according to assistance decisions and implementation plans, with respect for the user's integrity, participation, and self-determination.

As a care assistant, you are also the primary care contact for the individual user, responsible for their care and assisting with contacts with authorities, relatives, healthcare, etc.

Your tasks also include IT-based documentation and administration as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

Qualifications

Completion of the care and nursing program or other education that provides care assistant competence, as well as good computer skills. The position requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and independence. Personal suitability is highly valued, and experience is an advantage.

Conditions

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected job title, and to be qualified as a care assistant, a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare must be submitted.

Approved grades in Swedish.

A B driver's license valid for manual transmission is required, as well as the ability to cycle.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.

In Värnamo Municipality, all permanent positions are advertised as full-time. If you prefer part-time and the organization can accommodate a lower employment rate, this is of course an option.
