About the position & who we are looking for

Ramkvilla Equine Clinic is growing, and we are now looking for a fourth veterinarian to join our team. In addition to a veterinary license, you also have, perhaps not surprisingly, a genuine and passionate interest in horses and equestrian sports! You may be a relatively newly graduated veterinarian or have several years of experience; either way, you are looking for an equine clinic in the heart of Småland and see this as a suitable workplace for you.

In addition to your practical experience and interest in horses, we obviously place at least as much importance on your personal qualities. We see that you have excellent social skills and value personal contact and service towards your patients, clients, and colleagues.

What we offer

You will work a lot with sport horses, but if you wish to delve into areas such as dentistry or internal medicine, that opportunity may also exist. As we also wish to broaden our ambulatory services, some time will be spent in the field where you will have the chance to really get to know your clients.

We are part of the Swedish Veterinary Group, which is a larger association of veterinary clinics and animal hospitals across Sweden.

About the clinic

Ramkvilla Equine Clinic opened in 2014 and is a fully equipped clinic for outpatient services. The clinic has the latest technology such as direct digital X-ray, ultrasound, shockwave, and endo-/gastroscopy. The majority of our visits concern horses with reduced performance, often in the form of some movement disorder or lameness. We meet everyone from hobby horses to national team horses, and all are equally welcome. For issues that require further action, we arrange referrals and also assist with any aftercare.

Today, the workgroup consists of three veterinarians and four assistants. We who work at the clinic all have a burning interest in horses, both professionally and privately. Both veterinarians and assistants also have extensive experience working with our four-legged friends. Feel free to get to know us better on our website.
