We are looking for a systems engineer with a focus on hardware for an operation within the defense industry. In this role, you will be a key person in projects where you help define the system's design and functions, ensuring that the technical solution meets set requirements and quality levels. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and installers, contributing throughout the integration chain – from requirements and system design to construction, assembly, commissioning, and testing.

Examples of hardware may include data racks, cabling, operator stations, mechanical components/systems, and network components.

• Analyze, break down, and realize system requirements and define how the system should be designed
• Ensure that functionality is feasible and that the design is appropriate
• Verify that the developed solution meets both customer and internal requirements
• Prepare documentation for testing and verification of the system solution
• Identify and mitigate risks and drive necessary adjustments to ensure the quality of the system design
• Handle ongoing technical questions in the projects

• Technical background, such as a bachelor's degree in engineering, electrician with further training towards engineering, or equivalent experience
• Several years of relevant experience and a good understanding of hardware, mechanics, cabling/electrical, and networks
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted)

• Experience in creating drawings in CAD
