Your responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, you will:
- Drive quality and food safety work in the team according to HACCP and BRC standards
- Investigate complaints and internal deviations and lead root cause analyses and improvement initiatives
- Manage and develop the management system's routines and standards
- Coordinate internal and external audits and act as a contact person for authorities and customers
- Train and support production staff and leaders in hygiene routines and quality requirements
- Contribute in areas such as environment, chemicals, and work environment
- Support in anchoring quality routines and working methods in daily production
The position is close to operations and involves daily presence in production and close collaboration with maintenance, production, and other functions. The work takes place within a BRC-certified operation where you are expected to help maintain applicable standards. You will work independently in close collaboration with your colleagues in the quality team.
Good to know
You will be based at the facility in Järna, Södertälje municipality, and report to the Quality Manager. You will be part of a team with three quality engineers and collaborate with approximately 100–150 colleagues on site. Working hours are daytime with some flexibility. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probation period. As part of the recruitment process, a background check will also be conducted. Start date by agreement.
Our expectations
To succeed in this role, you have experience in quality work, preferably from the food or pharmaceutical industry. You have post-secondary education in food, agronomy, or natural sciences, or equivalent work experience, and have worked practically with quality management systems, such as BRC or similar. Experience with HACCP principles is an advantage. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form. We believe you thrive in a role where you are close to operations and can combine analysis with practical problem-solving. You are pedagogical, enjoy collaborating, and have a good ability to translate requirements into clear and effective working methods. All to contribute to a safe and quality-assured production!
