Cultural Geography Department
The Cultural Geography Department has a broad social geography profile, and teaching takes place in the main areas of cultural geography, urban planning, and geography.

Job Responsibilities
The Cultural Geography Department is seeking a GIS Assistant for undergraduate teaching. The main responsibilities include assisting students with GIS exercises and supervising shorter project work. The tasks also include designing, preparing, and revising GIS exercises, assisting teachers and researchers in producing cartographic materials, as well as other administrative tasks that occur at the department. The position also includes some IT support.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Swedish and English is required.
- Strong emphasis is placed on the ability to collaborate with colleagues and coworkers.
- Strong emphasis is placed on solid knowledge of GIS.
- Strong emphasis is placed on pedagogical experience.
- Strong emphasis is placed on experience working as a GIS assistant in GIS courses or having equivalent experience at various levels.
- Importance is placed on a master's degree in cultural geography, alternatively physical geography, or another relevant subject.
About the Position
The position is permanent full-time with a 6-month probationary period. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.
