Ambulance Caregiver at NU Healthcare

NU Healthcare is part of the Västra Götaland region and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area includes 280,000 inhabitants. Together, we are about 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. We are located on the west coast, and our area offers varied nature with both sea, mountains, forests, and lakes.

Technical Department Ambulance

The ambulance and patient transport operations under NU Healthcare can be found in Dalsland (stations located in Åmål, Bengtsfors, Dals-Ed, Mellerud, and Färgelanda) Trestad East (Trollhättan and Vänersborg), Trestad West (Uddevalla and Henån), Bohus North (Tanum and Strömstad), and Bohus West (Lysekil, Hallinden, and Kungshamn).

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare work, preferably as a nursing assistant
• Driving license class B
• Good driving experience

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, flexibility, the ability to work independently, and social competence. You should have good physical capacity, and tests are included in the recruitment process.

Working Hours

The working hours involve shifts during the day, evening, night, and weekends.

Other

An interest in ambulance care is desirable as the patient transport service can be a recruitment pathway to ambulance caregivers.

We are looking for individuals to be placed at NÄL, Trollhättan, Uddevalla.
