We at Vårdcentralen Kusten are now looking for a licensed psychologist.

Collaboration is an obvious part of our working method – we collaborate daily with specialist doctors, ST doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and occupational therapists.

We have a well-functioning psychology service with three licensed psychologists who work based on the primary care mission to assess and treat mild to moderate mental health issues. We primarily meet individuals aged 16 and older. We have high accessibility, and we can usually offer assessments in the same week that the patient seeks care from us.

Common issues we encounter in our clinical work include depression, anxiety disorders, stress-related health issues, sleep problems, and chronic pain. We work based on stepwise care, where the extent and intensity of the intervention are adapted to the patient's needs. If a treatment does not yield the desired results, there is always the possibility of more comprehensive interventions.

We offer a wide range of treatments that include assessment, counseling, group therapies, internet-based CBT (ICBT), and short-term therapies with a CBT focus. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other professional categories, including through multiprofessional treatment of chronic pain and stress, as well as through rehabilitation councils where we jointly assess and plan interventions.

We are currently developing new working methods according to the Lowest Effective Sick Leave (LESS), where we strive to promote a return to work and function as early as possible. Together with other professionals, we work to find individually tailored solutions that support the patient's health and work ability.

We have regular internal and external supervision as well as recurring meetings with psychosocial teams from other health centers in the area. For us, the social work environment is important. Information about the Workplace

Vårdcentralen Kusten is a private health center within Praktikertjänst AB and provides primary care on behalf of the Västra Götaland region. The health center is located in the western part of Kungälv municipality in Ytterby with branches in Kärna and Marstrand. We have over 19,800 registered patients. Good public transport connections to Gothenburg and northwards, with a train and bus station only 5 minutes from the health center. Our operations include a Family Center including BVC, rehabilitation, psychology services for adults, and additional assignments UPH, youth mental health.

In addition to traditional outpatient services, we offer our digital service Praktikertjänst, which enables chat and video visits with our patients. The chat is staffed daily by psychologists, doctors, and nurses who together assess and treat patient cases digitally. Job Responsibilities

As a psychologist with us, you will have a varied and meaningful job within the broad mission of primary care. Your main tasks will include:

• Short assessments based on the FACT model
• Individual short-term therapies with a CBT focus
• Conducting group therapies. The group therapies we offer our patients are Unified Protocol, stress management group, and multimodal group treatment for chronic pain.
• Interprofessional collaboration with other professional groups within the health center and our healthcare neighbors.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed psychologist. It is advantageous if you have experience working in primary care and have basic psychotherapy training with a focus on CBT. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Personal Characteristics

As a person, you are responsible and have a positive attitude towards your work. You are used to providing good service, have a good approach to our patients, and it is a given for you to collaborate with other professional categories at the health center. It is important that you have a holistic view of both work and the patient and that you easily adapt to different circumstances that may arise in the operation.
