We are now looking for a physiotherapist for our rehabilitation unit

We are looking for someone who wants to join our rehab team, characterized by good collaboration, high competence, and continuous development work.

The municipal healthcare system is undergoing a transformation. This is partly related to society's shift towards more localized care and partly due to ongoing challenges in workforce supply. Skara municipality is now choosing to increase focus and allocate resources to healthcare units. A development plan has been formulated and adopted, and specific positions to strengthen professionalization around welfare technology, dementia/cognitive impairment, psychiatry/addiction, and rehabilitation are being developed. We are now seeking an additional physiotherapist to strengthen the rehabilitation unit.

The work involves

As a licensed physiotherapist, you will work on assessing, evaluating, and performing treatments and exercise programs, as well as assessing the need for assistive devices and trying out aids as needed within elderly care, dementia, and disabilities in the municipality's accommodations, home healthcare, and short-term care. Your tasks will also include guiding, delegating, and training care personnel. Since the municipal healthcare system is in an expansive phase, development work and collaboration both internally and externally will be an important ingredient in the position.

We offer a varied and stimulating job alongside ambitious and competent colleagues. Our HSL team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses. We also have 1.4 rehab assistants. An important part is to work in a team around the care recipient to achieve a good overall perspective.

We all sit together, which provides an opportunity for good collaboration and support within the workgroup. You will also be assigned a mentor.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you should be able to work independently and make decisions in complex situations, while also appreciating close collaboration with colleagues both within and outside the organization.

Qualifications

• Licensed physiotherapist
• Driver's license for manual transmission
• Basic computer skills and documentation experience
• Engaged, flexible, and has good collaboration skills.
