JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a licensed vocational teacher who wants to help create an extraordinary school? Do you want to go home every day feeling that you have made a real difference?

We are looking for someone who wants to help create an extraordinary school - where relationships, knowledge focus, and pride allow both students and staff to grow. As a vocational teacher in our Health and Care Program, you will teach both practical and theoretical components, contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment, and be an important adult for our students.

Your responsibilities include:

• Teaching health and care subjects in the Health and Care Program, which includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with governing documents.
• Being a mentor and working closely with students' development and well-being.
• Guiding students during APL and collaborating with external workplaces.
• Cooperating with colleagues, student health, and other staff, and contributing to the program team's development work.
• Creating good relationships with students and working towards their goal achievement.
• Following up and documenting student results.

QUALIFICATIONS

Competency Requirements

• Licensed upper secondary school teacher
• Proficient in good Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also meritorious if you have:

• Experience teaching in upper secondary school or adult education
• Nursing background
• Subject knowledge at the university level in health and care
• Documented experience working in teams and development work
