We are now looking for a tactical buyer for our client's office in Trollhättan. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of materials throughout the purchasing process from ordering and delivery follow-up to supplier dialogues and improvement work. You will work with both operational and strategic tasks and have daily contact with suppliers from around the world. You will become part of a cheerful and wonderful team of about 10 people and also have close collaboration with the strategic buyers located at the office in Finspång.

This is a consulting assignment until February 28, 2027, with a desired start date of March 1, 2026. You will be employed by us at The Place and work at the client company. For the right person, there is also a chance for permanent employment with the client company. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

Your main tasks will include

• Ensuring material availability according to business needs

• Managing purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices

• Setting safety stock levels, lead times, and batch sizes in SAP

• Following up and developing suppliers

• Participating in supplier meetings and conducting negotiations

• Participating in procurements, projects, and purchasing strategies

We are looking for someone who

• Has a few years of experience in purchasing, preferably in an international environment

• Has a university degree in engineering and/or economics

• Is structured, analytical, and solution-oriented

• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Has good knowledge of the Office suite and Excel

• Experience with SAP is a strong advantage

• Start: March 1, 2026

• Employment type: This is a consulting assignment for 1 year, where you will be employed as a consultant through The Place and work at our client. There are good opportunities for extension or employment with the client.

• Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM

• Location: Trollhättan
