Svaneholmskolan is an F-6 school with just over 100 students. The school is beautifully located along the Viskan river and serves as a natural hub for the small community. At Svaneholmskolan, we work systematically on development through collegial learning driven by the school's lead teachers. We believe in the power of sharing experiences, reflecting together, and building on each other's strengths, always aiming to continuously improve teaching for our students.

Kinnarummaskolan is an F-6 school with about 100 students. The school is beautifully situated in the Häggån valley, about 10 km south of Borås City, and serves as a natural hub in the small community.

Teacher in Physical Education and Health at Svaneholmskolan and Kinnarummaskolan Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for teaching Physical Education and Health for grades 1-6. The role includes independently planning, implementing, following up, analyzing, and adapting the work in various ways, but also working closely with other staff. As a teacher in Physical Education and Health, you will meet many students during a workday, so it is important that you are skilled at building relationships.

The position is divided with 50% at Kinnarummaskolan and 50% at Svaneholmskolan. The work is structured with full working days at each school, and the distribution of the workweek is done in consultation with the principal based on your preferences.

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Physical Education and Health for the relevant grades. As a person, you are confident in your leadership and have the ability to lead and motivate students, as well as create a safe and inclusive learning environment. You are clear in your communication and skilled at interacting with students, colleagues, and guardians. You create sustainable relationships based on mutual respect and have the desire and drive to work with the team to be responsible for the students' academic and social development. You have an interest and willingness to develop methods and approaches that benefit all students.
