ABOUT THE POSITION:In the role of interim IT Manager, you will be responsible for the System and Data Platform function within the county administrative boards' IT department. The function consists of approximately 8 employees and several consultants, located in various locations across Sweden.
The main focus of the function is to develop, manage, and maintain platforms for email, chat, video, and conferencing. In the spring of 2026, new collaboration platforms will be launched, which will require a strong focus on management, stability, and further development. Within the function, there are also roles such as infrastructure architect and process leader.
You will work closely with the unit manager and actively contribute to the entire unit's mission. The unit consists of about 90 employees, and you will be part of the unit's management team. The role is based in Gothenburg, and travel may be required.
You will, for example,:
- Lead and manage the System and Data Platform function
- Have budget, delivery, and personnel responsibility
- Be responsible for planning, follow-up, and reporting
- Lead or participate in projects and steering groups
- Work with vendor management
- Participate in cross-unit assignments and joint planning
- Has several years of managerial experience in IT in larger and complex IT environments
- Experience in leadership roles in organizations with high demands for secure and robust IT operations and IT security
- Experience in technical deliveries within IT infrastructure
- Has good experience in financial management, budgeting, and follow-up
- Several years of experience in leading, coaching, and developing employees

- Analytical with the ability to handle complex relationships
- Able to see the need for and contribute to joint planning with other functions

This is a consulting assignment where you will be permanently employed by Friday.
For the role, both security clearance and background checks are required.
- Scope: Full-time.
- Start: Mid-February or March 2026 to March 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension until June 30, 2027.
- Location: Gothenburg.
- Salary: Market-based.
