Do you want to work hands-on with groundbreaking cleantech and solve real technical challenges? For Medclair, we are looking for a field technician who troubleshoots, repairs, and optimizes the company's world-unique nitrous oxide purification systems – both in the workshop and on-site with customers across Europe.

About the position

This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is conducted through Bravura and you will be employed directly by Medclair.

About the company

Medclair is a Swedish cleantech company founded in 2013 with a clear ambition: to reduce the climate impact of nitrous oxide while improving the working environment in healthcare-related operations. Nitrous oxide is a commonly used medical gas in areas such as maternity care, pediatric care, and dentistry – but it is also one of the most climate-impacting greenhouse gases. Therefore, Medclair has developed innovative purification technologies that effectively capture and destroy nitrous oxide before it is released into the atmosphere.

Medclair has established itself as a leading player in the field, with customers in both public and private healthcare. In addition to its main products, Medclair also provides aftermarket service, technical support, and preventive maintenance to ensure long-term operation and customer satisfaction. They have their strongest market presence in the Nordic region but have quickly built an impressive global presence with products distributed in over 20 countries.

Job responsibilities

As a field technician, you will be a central part of Medclair's aftermarket and service organization. The work is varied and mainly consists of troubleshooting, repair, and technical support – both in the workshop in Skarpnäck and on-site with customers. You will work closely with the production manager and become an important part of their problem-solving efforts in the field. The role is practical, independent, and requires curiosity.

Examples of job responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair Medclair's units in the workshop.

  • Perform field trips for repairs and troubleshooting at customer sites, both in Sweden and abroad.

  • Take ownership of complex cases and ensure that problems are resolved effectively.

  • Analyze operational data and gather facts to facilitate troubleshooting and future improvements.

  • Contribute to building future service functions and training initiatives internationally.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

  • Basic knowledge of control and regulation technology.

  • An understanding of air flows and electrical engineering.

  • Experience from a technology-intensive environment – industry, production, or similar.

  • Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair within electrical, ventilation, or industrial systems.

We are looking for a practical person who enjoys solving problems – for real! The role requires a strong drive, sense of responsibility, and a methodical approach, especially during troubleshooting where you are often the one solving the situation on-site with the customer. You thrive in a role where you can work independently and where each day looks different. The role involves travel, sometimes at short notice. To succeed in this role, you need to be confident in customer interactions and communicative, as well as having a natural ability to get things done, whether it requires practical skills or analytical ability.
