We are now looking for a consultant for a long-term assignment as a case officer at a larger socially important organization within the energy sector. The assignment is suitable for you who want a central role in monitoring the organization's interests in community planning processes and contributing to a safe and sustainable societal development.

Background & Assignment Description

In the role of case officer, you will handle referrals and cases from authorities, network owners, courts, and other stakeholders. The assignment involves coordinating and responding to referrals within the framework of several different legislations, such as the Planning and Building Act, the Environmental Code, the Electricity Act, and the Road Act.

The referrals concern, among other things, road plans, nature reserves and other area protections, new solar and wind farms, battery storage, and consultations from other network owners prior to their concession applications. The assignment involves monitoring the organization's interests and clearly stating these in the referral responses to enable future expansion and reinvestment of transmission networks and associated facilities.

Job Responsibilities

As a consultant in the role of case officer, you will have an important function in ensuring a robust and future-proof infrastructure. You will contribute both to the management of existing lines and to creating accessibility for new ones.

The work involves many points of contact, both internally and externally. You will become a key person in the effort to streamline the processing in order to reduce lead times for expansion and reinvestment of facilities.

You will be part of a unit within community planning that works in teams with an open and unpretentious approach. Here, collaboration, participation, and an inclusive work climate are valued. The assignment also includes contributing to business development in the area.

Competence Requirements

  • Knowledge: Education in the relevant field, with a certain level of difficulty
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in the field and have participated in or carried out several similar assignments
  • Independence: Can independently perform defined tasks, with some supervision

Mandatory Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in community planning with handling and preparation of cases related to the Planning and Building Act
  • Academic education in community planning or equivalent deemed suitable
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Environmental Code, Electricity Act, Road Act, and Planning and Building Act
  • Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

This is a consulting assignment for you who want to work long-term in a complex and socially important operation, where your work has a direct impact on the future infrastructure and societal development.
