We are looking for a new colleague to work as a Volunteer Coordinator in our Preventive Unit.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator for our Preventive Unit. We work in a team-based manner with tasks such as coordination between various operations, organizations, and associations to promote preventive work and prevent ill health in Tidaholm municipality. The work also includes arranging and driving various activities (for example, meeting points) aimed at specific target groups according to the new Social Services Act (SoL).

The team includes, among others, family coordinators, dementia coordinators, and vision and hearing instructors. Since the team is small, flexibility and collaboration are required, as team members are expected to support each other in case of absence.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting by agreement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education, such as leisure leader or social pedagogue, or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent. Experience in coordinating various operations is an advantage for the position.

You are self-driven and proactive, pushing the work forward. To succeed in the role, you are relationship-building and encourage participation and engagement in a pedagogical manner. You can adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation.

You are accustomed to digital work and have good knowledge of the Office suite.

A B driver's license is a requirement.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
