Now we are entering a new era! In the fall of 2025, Stockholm County's healthcare area (SLSO) started Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly formed organization that gathers all psychosis outpatient and inpatient care units within SLSO into a common operation.

We are now looking for a temporary medical secretary for the Administrative unit at Nacka Hospital!

About the Administration HDV PSS Nacka Hospital

Psychiatry South Stockholm currently has 12 psychiatric departments with a total of 222 care places. Nine of these departments are located at Nacka Hospital and the remaining three are located in Farsta (Ytterö), Gubbängen, and Södermalm.

Your work as a medical secretary

We are now looking for a medical secretary for our team of medical secretaries within psychiatric inpatient care at Nacka Hospital. As a medical secretary with us, you will work with various patient administrative tasks.

In the journal system Take Care, you will write journal notes, KVÅ codes, and manage associated documents. You will request journals, handle mail and incoming phone calls. You will monitor incoming secure emails, faxes, message groups in Take Care, and the secretary group's functional mailbox (incoming assignments from inpatient care). Another large and important part of the tasks is LPT and ÖPT handling, which involves monitoring the deadlines that apply to the patient being cared for under the law on psychiatric compulsory care and, in connection with this, having close cooperation with the responsible chief physicians and the Administrative Court, which is the decision-making body.

You are a key person within a patient-safe care administration, and you have close cooperation with other medical secretaries, doctors, and managers.

As a new employee, you need a secure introduction, and we offer you a mentor for support and guidance.

The position is a temporary position at 100%, 39.5 hours/week, with a start date according to agreement, preferably as soon as possible. Until September 30, 2026.

Qualifications

You who are applying should have a degree from a post-secondary education as a medical secretary.

It is an advantage if you have experience in psychiatric care and inpatient care.

You should have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health care before employment.
• in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
