Our client is an authority that manages the national grid for electricity in Sweden. They also conduct research and development projects in many areas to promote new technology. The authority's work impacts society socially, environmentally, and economically, both locally and nationally, as well as globally through the authority's supply chains. The assignment is located in a central business development function responsible for change management at the organizational level. The function operates strategically, governably, and supportively, working together with the business to drive development work and coordinate, manage, and further develop common methods, working practices, and tools.

The work takes place in a complex environment where a holistic perspective, collaboration, and long-term effects are central.

Before the assignment can begin, a security clearance will be conducted. As a person, you are attentive, engaged, and have good collaboration skills. You are structured and capable of working independently, striving to deliver high quality.

You will be employed by Future People and work as a consultant with our exciting client.

In the role of change leader, you will guide individuals, groups, and parts of the organization through change. You often work within the framework of projects or assignments but may also have roles as a workshop leader, assignment leader, or project manager.

You are independently responsible for planning, driving, and implementing change work at both tactical and operational levels. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and clients, which places high demands on clear communication, structure, and division of responsibilities.

Examples of tasks

The assignment may include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Support clients, managers, leadership, and operations in driving change work towards set goals and identified effects

  • Plan, develop, and anchor materials such as change plans, impact analyses, and stakeholder mappings

  • Lead and steer change processes and carry out operational change activities

  • Work closely with program, project, and assignment management as well as communication functions

  • Deliver presentations, lead workshops, and contribute to competency enhancement in change management

Requirements
  • At least 8 years of dedicated experience as a change leader in assignments or projects

  • Experience in developing:

    • change plans

    • stakeholder analyses

    • communication plans

    • and implementing identified change activities

  • At least 5 years of experience as a change leader driving tactical and operational change work within complex initiatives in organizations experiencing strong growth

  • Complex initiatives refer to assignments where:

    • the organization has had multiple business areas

    • the change has affected people, processes, and IT support

  • At least 5 years of experience working as a dedicated change leader in assignments focused on IT and/or digitalization initiatives

  • At least 5 years of experience planning and driving workshops related to business development work

  • Certification in the Prosci ADKAR methodology

  • At least 3 years of practical experience working according to the Prosci ADKAR methodology

Meritorious
  • At least 5 years of experience translating business plans and strategic documents into concrete materials that support change work

  • At least 5 years of experience handling issues at strategic, tactical, and operational levels

  • At least 3 years of experience working in cross-functional teams
