With us, you will work on current societal issues that are influenced by what is happening in our surroundings. Issues that concern and engage. We offer a dynamic environment characterized by meeting people and continuous learning.
The reception and return center is a new type of workplace. You will work with issues that concern and engage in a dynamic environment characterized by meeting people and influenced by what is happening in our surroundings. It is also an environment characterized by continuous learning and participation, where we, through co-location, have better conditions to work closely together between the professions in the asylum process. We are also close to the asylum seekers by working where they live. This allows us to work more efficiently and make it safer for the asylum seeker.
What does a migration case officer do?
As a migration case officer, you will handle, investigate, decide, and propose decisions in various types of cases. The decisions have legal effects for individuals and affect their rights to benefits, rights, and obligations. In addition, you will work with administration where you manage documents and records that have been submitted or created in a case. In your role, you will meet and have conversations with individuals who have cases with the Migration Agency and other stakeholders. The conversations may involve informing about decisions or providing information about the Migration Agency's processes, as well as guiding and providing service. You will identify and address any special needs of individuals and, where applicable, hold conversations with adults and children in vulnerable situations.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has good collaboration skills, is attentive, and resolves conflicts constructively. You are service-oriented and have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others, and you strive to deliver solutions. We also seek someone who is clear in their communication, ensuring that messages are conveyed and that expectations are clear for all parties involved.
