Within the clinic for anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care, emergency and planned surgical care, anesthesia, postoperative care, intensive care for children and adults, and sterile technical operations are conducted at the regional and county level in close collaboration with other clinics in the county. The clinic is also responsible for air ambulance intensive care in the north as well as conducting research, development, and education.

At Operation 2, emergency and planned surgical care and anesthesia are performed in the areas of neurosurgery, ear-nose-throat surgery, obstetrics, pediatric surgery, hand and plastic surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, and radiology. Every day, we work together in interdisciplinary teams and across departmental boundaries to save, improve, and prolong lives. It is a challenging task that we take on together.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operating nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.

As an operating nurse with us, you are responsible for the patient's safety, good care, and nursing before and during the operation within your specialty area. You work independently while being part of an operating team.

Since Norrland University Hospital is a teaching hospital, supervision of students is also included. Supervising students gives us the opportunity to stay updated regarding routines and treatments of our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with further education in surgical nursing.
