Job Advertisement: Nurse at Geriatric Center

The Geriatric Center is a specialist clinic for patients needing both acute and planned geriatric care and rehabilitation. A comprehensive assessment of the elderly patient's medical, physical, psychological, and social functional capacity in illness is performed by interprofessional teams. Diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation are conducted in inpatient and outpatient care with the patient's individual needs in focus.

The orthopedic geriatrics department, ward 4, has 20 care places focusing on subacute orthopedic geriatric care and rehabilitation.

We are now looking for two new nursing colleagues, primarily for day/evening/weekend work and possibly night shifts as needed and agreed upon in an AB schedule. Are you the one we are looking for?

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.

The role of the nurse includes nursing responsibility and nursing work together with nursing assistants, medical actions based on the patient's condition and prescription, as well as contacts with other professionals in the care team, other healthcare providers, and the patient's relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialized training for nurses in orthopedics and/or geriatrics.

To be the one we are looking for, we see that you have good collaboration skills, where you listen and communicate with both patients and colleagues. It is important that you feel comfortable handling administrative tasks. Experience in teamwork and geriatric care is an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
