As district veterinarians, we work on behalf of individuals, businesses, and authorities. We provide community-supporting services for emergency veterinary care, disease control, and preventive measures for good animal health. Always with our feet on the ground and our hearts in the right place. The District Veterinarians are part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you passionate about equine veterinary care and want to help shape a safe, competent, and cohesive team? District Veterinarians Umåker is now seeking an equine clinic veterinarian who wants to contribute to the development of our operations through their medical expertise and commitment to building a strong team.
Our clinic is located near Umåker racetrack, close to Umeå. Here, you will work in a well-equipped clinic with a fully equipped operating room and modern equipment (including X-ray, ultrasound, ventilator, arthroscope, endoscope, gastroscope, shockwave, and lab).

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed veterinarian with a focus on horses and preferably has an interest in orthopedics.
- Wants to contribute to a fantastic team and an exciting workplace.
- Sees development as a natural part of their professional life.

A veterinary license or special permit, as well as a B driver's license, are required for the position.
