In our new premises on Tagenevägen in Gothenburg, all manufacturing takes place from laser cutting to final assembly/testing. The company has about 40 employees who collectively contribute to a stable and profitable business.

About the position.

ElectroHeat has experienced strong growth and therefore has a need to strengthen our design team. With us, you will work with mechanical design of furnace systems. Our furnaces are used from 60-1200°C and can be up to 13 meters long with a high level of automation.

We are looking for someone with experience in welded constructions and moving parts. You have previous experience working closely with manufacturing/workshops and know what works in practice. As a person, you are solution-oriented, quick-thinking, and have a good ability to prioritize.

Your tasks

• Mechanical design of customer-specific projects from start to delivery

• Lead and independently develop production documentation in 3D CAD (Solidworks)

• Contact with suppliers / ordering components

• Collaborate with the electrical and programming department

• Suggest and implement improvements in material selection and manufacturing methods

• Participate in customer meetings / Support the sales department with technical documentation for quotes

• Production follow-up

• Documentation and CE marking

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

• Good experience in mechanical design

• Workshop experience

Meritorious

• Experience with SolidWorks

• Experience with CE marking

• Design of welded constructions

You will have extensive contact areas and be responsible for communication with suppliers, customers, and production.

But do you know what the best part is? One floor down from your office, you can walk out into the workshop and see your designs come to life. In our premises on Tagenevägen, we have both an electrical workshop and a machine hall. We cut out the parts with our laser and assemble the complete furnace systems. We also build the electrical cabinets and program the system before testing and delivery.
