About the role

As a mathematics teacher at IES Sundsvall, you will teach grades 3-6 in Swedish and create an inspiring learning environment where students develop their mathematical abilities and problem-solving skills. Mentorship is an important part of the role, which means you will also support students in their social and academic development.

Teaching is conducted in Swedish, but since we are an international school, good knowledge of English is also essential.

If you are also qualified in science subjects, you may have the opportunity to teach these subjects as well, creating a varied and developing role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in mathematics for grades 3-6.
• Has a passion for mathematics and for inspiring students to think critically and solve problems.
• Is an engaged and enthusiastic educator with deep subject knowledge.
• Is positive, solution-oriented, and a team player who values collaboration and engagement.
• Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
• Is qualified in science subjects (meritorious but not required).
