Örnsköldsvik High School has two school buildings, Park School and Nolaskolan.

With us, a total of over 1800 students study across five college preparatory programs and ten vocational programs, as well as introductory programs and adapted upper secondary school. Örnsköldsvik High School has been designated as a training school, which means that student teachers are a regular feature of the school.

Responsibilities

You will teach Swedish and Swedish as a second language. Your work includes teaching, planning, documentation, and communication with students and guardians. The assignment also involves participating in collaborative work with subject and work teams.

Your responsibilities often include mentoring a number of students. This includes a significant responsibility for following up and supporting your mentees and actively participating in student health work.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher at the upper secondary level with subject competence in Swedish and Swedish as a second language.

We seek someone who enjoys being challenged and thinking innovatively, who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a secure adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a positive atmosphere in the student group and work team is a given for you.

We would like you to have experience leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and to adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and individuals. You are attentive, responsible, engaged, and creative.
