Do you want a meaningful job where you make a difference for other people every day? We are now looking for substitutes for our special accommodations, home care, and activities within support for people with disabilities and social psychiatry.

Our working method is supportive and rehabilitative, focusing on utilizing the individual's resources and abilities.

We offer summer substitutes where you work according to a schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and/or nights. There is an opportunity to start working as early as spring, as we have an ongoing need for hourly substitutes throughout the year. You will have the chance to work in several workplaces and within different activities, providing varied and developing work.

We are looking for you who enjoy creating good meetings, want to contribute to safety, and have a genuine interest in people.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for summer substitutes in the following areas:

Home Care and Special Accommodations - Elderly Care

You will work both independently and together with colleagues. The work involves supporting care recipients in their daily lives through personal care, assistance with hygiene, medication, meals, social interaction, and activities. The work is always based on the individual's needs and conditions.

We are looking for nursing assistants/care assistants for:

  • The elderly home Lintjärn, which is our care and dementia home in Forshaga, and the elderly home Ullerudsgården, which is our corresponding facility in Deje.
  • Home care in Forshaga and Deje.

Support for People with Disabilities and Social Psychiatry

Here you will work as a personal assistant and habilitation assistant. You provide support to individuals with various disabilities to enable as independent and meaningful a life as possible. The work is done in close collaboration with the individual and can take place in group homes, service apartments, in the individual's home, at daily activities, or within short-term care.

The activities are located in both Forshaga and Deje.

We are looking for habilitation assistants/personal assistants for:

  • Housing according to LSS
  • Social psychiatric housing
  • Daily activities
  • Personal assistance to care recipients with decisions according to LSS
  • Short-term accommodation for children and young people with disabilities

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with people and who contribute with commitment to a safe and well-functioning everyday life for our care recipients. You are responsible, can make your own decisions, and have good collaboration skills. You work attentively, professionally, and with a respectful approach.

It is advantageous if you have relevant education, such as from the nursing program, child and leisure program, or pedagogical education, but it is not a requirement. Experience from similar work is a plus. A B driver's license is advantageous.

You are calm, attentive, and service-oriented with a desire to help others. Communication is an important part of the job, and therefore you need to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You should have approved grades in Swedish equivalent to grade 9. We place great importance on personal suitability.

For employment in certain areas of support for people with disabilities, we require a criminal record extract from the Swedish Police Authority.
