We are looking for a family therapist who wants to be part of our creative team, where we care about our work environment and job satisfaction. We work on behalf of the authorities and also have a parent reception where parents can seek support themselves. In our outpatient care, the focus is on quality in the work and increased independence for the individuals and families we meet.

The Family Support Unit consists of a family therapist team, family pedagogical team, network team, and a domestic violence team. Collaboration and development are key principles as we move towards 2026 when we, together with other teams, units, and departments in Järfälla municipality, will work to meet challenges and make a difference for the citizens we encounter in our work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Family therapy in our outpatient care is primarily about being creative and daring to think outside the box. We work closely with the various units of social services. The assignments describe the needs, and then we create together with the families how and what we will work on together to achieve the set goals. In this role, you have great freedom to plan and carry out your work. We meet families both in their homes and in our centrally located offices.

Since the autumn of 2022, we have been working based on Feedback Informed Treatment, a method that helps us strengthen the individual's engagement and influence over their process. We find that it leads us to work in the right way for the client. Additionally, part of FIT means that we are constantly developing as therapists.

We work both individually and together with another family therapist depending on the nature of the assignments. You will be offered a developing workplace where there is both breadth and the possibility for specialization. Some evening work is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
• Degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Therapeutic training equivalent to step 1
• Experience in family therapy with a habit of including children and youth.
• Good Swedish in speech and writing.

Desirable:
• Experience working with children living in vulnerable environments.
• Experience working towards goals and with follow-up within social services.
• Experience working in high-risk families
• Further training in Signs of Safety, Whole Child, Safer Children, MI

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and attentive in your work and have a very good ability to collaborate and create good relationships both in the workplace, with partners, and in working with families.
