The Care and Social Services Office is responsible for ensuring that the elderly and people with disabilities receive high-quality care and support. We work purposefully to be a leader in quality and have a well-functioning collaboration between politicians, civil servants, and service providers. The operations are characterized by a willingness to develop and a balanced economy.

The preventive activities include five meeting points for seniors, outreach home visits, handyman services, digital coaching, and volunteer activities. The meeting points are vibrant gathering places throughout the municipality where we offer activities that promote community, health, and well-being. We are a central part of the municipality's preventive work and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our visitors.

The preventive activities are part of the Care and Social Services Office's own management, along with meeting points for people with disabilities and day activities and home-based day activities for the elderly.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for part-time employees for our meeting points who want to be a part of our team and contribute to ensuring that our visitors are always met with a professional, warm, and inclusive approach. The tasks vary, but the focus is on social interaction, planning and implementing activities, and creating a pleasant and safe environment.

You will work both independently and together with colleagues, actively contributing to good collaboration and a positive work environment. The role involves being present, attentive, and engaged in meeting people.

Qualifications

• Experience in care and social services or social work.
• A genuine interest in the elderly and a desire to enhance their independence and well-being.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Good collaboration skills

Desirable:

• Experience in health-promoting work with the elderly.
• Experience in activity planning or working in group activities.

Personal Qualities

You are secure, self-driven, and proactive. You enjoy building good relationships and easily adapt to different situations and needs. You are creative and like to combine planning and leadership with practical tasks in everyday life.

Requirement for a Criminal Record Extract

If you are called for an interview, bring the extract and present it to the hiring manager. Please note that the processing time at the Police can take several weeks. Therefore, we recommend that you order the extract when you submit your application.
