About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Working within Social Psychiatry means that you respectfully provide social and pedagogical support to individuals with mental disabilities.

By creating safety and structure, you support the user in their recovery process.

In the Role of Awake Night Supervisor

You are responsible for creating and maintaining calm and safety during the night. The work involves being available for support when needed and being attentive to changes in mood or behavior. You contribute to a peaceful environment and handle any anxiety or crisis situations in a calm and stable manner. Your daily work is based on each user's individual implementation plan. You motivate activities and engagement, both inside and outside the residence, to break isolation. You provide support to users both in the residence and in housing support. We collaborate broadly with relatives, guardians, and care neighbors.

Regular documentation is part of your work with us.

To assist you in your role as a supervisor, you have, among other things, a pedagogical coordinator, a unit administrator, and a team of colleagues who support and strengthen each other. In addition to these support functions, there are also nurses and occupational therapists.

We Are Looking For You

We are looking for someone who has studied YH with a focus on social psychiatry, social pedagogy, nursing with specialist competence in psychiatry, or other education that the employer deems relevant. If you also have training in recovery-oriented approaches or CAN assessment, it is an advantage.

You need to have knowledge of social documentation, and if you have previously worked in the Life Care IFO system, it is an advantage. For planning support, we use the digital planning tool Epsilon. We would like you to have knowledge of and interest in digitalization.

We prefer that you have work experience in social psychiatry and good knowledge of the target group. If you have experience of comorbidity, i.e., psychiatry/somatics or substance abuse, this is an advantage. You need to have a good ability to collaborate, create structure, plan, and take responsibility. You are humble, clear, and see the equal value of all people.

About the Workplace

The area of social psychiatry includes several operations that provide support in housing, employment, and work rehabilitation. The overarching purpose of the operations is to increase the conditions for recovery. By offering flexible support that is individually tailored with high accessibility, participation, and co-determination, people with mental disabilities can live as independently as possible.

Housing Support North consists of the residence Häradsvägen, as well as housing support in the local area. This means that we work both inside the special housing and out in the community's housing support for individuals in their own homes. We are a total of 19 employees in the area, of which four work awake nights. We are now looking for a new colleague for the night shift. The position involves night work according to a rotating schedule, as well as every other weekend.

We are part of the labor market and social administration, where about 600 employees provide support to the residents of Lund who need social services. Together, we ensure that children and young people have the best possible upbringing. We focus on the entire family's situation and that no one should suffer. It is about providing support to adults with harmful use and dependence or mental disabilities, to those who need financial assistance, guardianship, or support to study or work, as well as to refugees.
