We are now looking for a calm, empathetic, and caring personal assistant for a boy born in 2021. He has a rare genetic diagnosis, ACTL6B mutation (Q998), which means severe developmental disability and significant swallowing difficulties.

In addition, he has diagnoses of epilepsy (G40.9) and respiratory insufficiency (J96.1).

His condition results in severe pain issues and lack of voluntary motor skills. Due to his extensive care needs, he has been granted personal assistance with constant supervision around the clock and help with all aspects of ADL.

As an assistant, you are an important part of his daily life and security. The work requires great sensitivity, a sense of responsibility, and a calm demeanor. Experience in advanced care is an advantage, but the most important thing is your commitment, empathy, and willingness to provide high-quality care.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Empathetic, secure, and caring
• Responsible and meticulous
• Comfortable working closely with children with significant care needs

About the position:

• Scope: 50–100 %
• Working hours: Mixed working hours (day, evening, night, and weekend)

An important part of the assignment is to have respect and understanding that mom and dad function as supervisors. Fluent in Swedish.
