Personal Assistant Needed for 7-Year-Old Girl
We are looking for personal assistants for a 7-year-old girl with a rare genetic disorder. The girl is non-verbal and communicates through body language and expressions. She has muscle weakness that affects her balance and suffers from epilepsy.
As an assistant, you will provide support in daily life, which includes:
- Communication support
- Personal care
- Exercise and physical activity according to her abilities
- Meals
- Supervision and safety around the clock
We are looking for someone who is:
- Child-friendly and comfortable interacting with children
- Calm, pedagogical, and empathetic
- Responsible and reliable
The family is bilingual and speaks Swedish and Italian at home.
We are primarily looking for substitutes as needed, but also for a person who can work a fixed afternoon shift once a week. Experience in personal assistance, working with children with disabilities or epilepsy is a plus, but personal suitability is the most important.
