Personal Assistant for Agge

We are now seeking a reliable and active personal assistant for Agge – a wonderful 11-year-old boy who lives a life full of movement and joy, despite having several disabilities.

Agge has cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, an intellectual disability, and epilepsy. But that is not what defines him – it is his curiosity, energy, and great love for the world around him.

Agge loves going on outings, watching trains, cycling with his cargo bike, and joining in on family adventures. He is social, lively, and always ready for fun when something exciting happens. He enjoys being outdoors the most – or in the pool at home!

You will be employed by Vivida Assistans, which is the assistance company, but the actual job will be performed at Agge's home.

Your Role as an Assistant:

As a personal assistant, you will be closely involved in everything Agge does. This includes:

• Assisting with all personal care (e.g., hygiene, diaper changes, skincare)
• Medication and tube feeding (training will be provided on-site)
• Being at home, playing, reading, bathing – or joining in on adventures!
• Accompanying on family outings or engaging in activities with Agge, such as parasports or swimming

This is a physically active job that requires a lot of presence and physical contact – where gentleness and respect are central.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has very good Swedish skills in speaking and writing
• Is active, reliable, and has a warm, joyful demeanor
• Has experience with children with disabilities, preferably as a nursing assistant or similar
• Enjoys swimming, cycling, sports, and being outdoors
• Is physically fit – some lifting may occur
• Is a competent swimmer and has a bike (requirement)
• Has a driver's license (preferred)
• Does not have allergies or fears of animals
• Is patient, playful, and present – a person who blends into the family's daily life and wants the best for Agge

You should also be eager to develop!

We offer training and guidance in areas such as:

• Epilepsy care
• Medication management
• Tube feeding
• Neuropsychiatric disorders and interaction

Working Hours – We Take It at Our Pace:

There is no rush to find the right person. Initially, we would like you to work weekends – mainly during the day. At first, we are looking for extra help as needed, but this can eventually be expanded to a part-time position.

Our focus is on finding a star – someone who truly clicks with Agge and whom the family can trust. The most important thing for us is that you want the best for him, see his needs and wishes, and want to help create safe, fun days together.

YOUR SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant will receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation pay and any additional compensation. Collective agreements are in place.
