Labor Market and Education Administration

Welcome to the Labor Market and Education Administration in Boden Municipality! The administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues that concern our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, and adapted secondary schools.

Are you a nursing assistant or childcare worker with a focus on social work or equivalent? We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a SUBSTITUTE with us at Work & Employment (AoS) with the opportunity to go through an introduction before you start working for real.

For individuals with decisions regarding daily activities or employment, we are the job they go to during the day and we are responsible for 11 different workplaces as well as opportunities for company placements within Boden Municipality.

We also support individuals with other needs to take steps on their journey towards work or studies. Our operations are scheduled during the day and offer a flexible range of tasks, activities, studies, and employment characterized by accessibility for all participants.

In your role as a group leader, you will pedagogically plan, guide, coach, and motivate individuals in their daily tasks. You are responsible for ensuring that participants' planning is current and aims to strengthen the individual's self-determination and belief in their own abilities. You will be part of a work team with good colleagues and with close support from the unit manager.

We strive for each individual to reach 100% of their own ability and to be able to participate in the community. Our operations offer the individual stimulation, development, meaningfulness, and community according to their wishes. An overarching goal is also to develop the individual's opportunities for work in the short or long term and can include both habilitative activities and more production-oriented tasks. We base our planning and work on the individual's needs and conditions to help them take steps in their own development and strengthen their ability to influence their own lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a secure, positive, and proactive person who sees opportunities even in the small things. You thrive in good environments where the development of individuals is at the center.

In the role of group leader, the approach is of utmost importance as well as the willingness to work collaboratively with the individuals we work with.

You will meet a wide spectrum of people with different challenges in their daily lives. The disabilities of those who mainly participate in our operations vary from those with neuropsychiatric disabilities (Autism, ADHD, etc.), intellectual disabilities, mental disabilities/illnesses, etc. You need the ability to quickly adjust your approach and working methods as individuals' needs can differ greatly. Social documentation and some care are included in the daily work.

We believe that you enjoy working TOGETHER in a team and contribute your experience and competence to the development of the operations.

You have the ability to review, analyze, and assess your own work and thus be able to contribute to quality interventions and assess when someone else's competence is needed.

Requirements:

• Degree or final grades from the Health and Care program, alternatively degree or final grades from the Child and Leisure program with a focus on social work or equivalent.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience working with the target group
