Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for a district nurse for our child health and adult clinic. We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applied.
Alongside your individual development plan, we also have regular training days for professional development. This means you will be part of a large network with knowledgeable colleagues. Depending on your work experience, you will receive an introduction to the operations from a designated mentor.

Our Operations
The health center belongs to the administration Close Care and Health, Region Uppsala. In the rapidly growing area around Gränby Center, our health center is located with good communication, parking facilities, shopping, and services. We are 45 employees who together offer most of what is available in primary care, and at the health center, everyone works to provide our patients with the best possible care. Rasbo Health Center is our branch.
Gränbystaden Health Center has a well-functioning child health clinic where the child and family are always in focus. Together with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues, you will work in the child health team and also have close collaboration with doctors, psychosocial teams, midwifery clinics, and dietitians.
Your Mission
You will work at the child health and adult clinic. At the adult clinic, you will have your own practice where patients of all ages can seek help for various issues. This can include skin problems, wound dressings, vaccinations, health talks, memory tests, ear problems, or incontinence. You will use your prescribing rights for medications and aids. It is an independent job where you make your own assessments and decisions, but it is also a team effort where we all collaborate. We have a newly started Elderly Clinic where there is an opportunity to join the team.
At the child health clinic, you will work from a holistic perspective with the child's health in focus. You will be an active support to parents to strengthen them in their parenting role. You will meet children and parents both individually, based on each family's needs, and also in group activities. In your role, you have the opportunity to work variably with everything from clinic work, home visits, parent groups, health-promoting and parenting support conversations, telephone advice, and vaccinations, in accordance with the guidelines of child health care.
Your Competence
We are looking for a licensed district nurse. It is advantageous if you have experience working in primary care and child health. As a person, you are positive, have a flexible working style, and a good ability to collaborate with others in the team, while also having the experience and drive to work independently. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
