Do you want to work in a world-class burn clinic and simultaneously develop your skills in wound care? Then this may be the job for you! The Burn Center offers you the opportunity to enhance your skills in burn care.

Our operations

Welcome to Sweden's hottest workplace in Uppsala! Just below the helicopter pad, we operate one of the country's two units for national highly specialized burn care. Here we work in multidisciplinary teams, always with the patient in focus. We care for burn patients from the acute phase, requiring advanced intensive care, to intermediate care and finally rehabilitation before the patient is discharged. This provides continuity in care and close contact with the patient and their relatives. The department has an operating room where our patients are operated on.

Our operations are enriched by a clinic where we receive minor injuries and care for patients who have been discharged from the department. Right now, the burn clinic needs a new colleague.

Your mission

We offer you a full-time position with us as a clinic nurse, where your tasks will include conducting your own clinic visits, providing telephone advice, and consulting at the hospital. Being a clinic nurse with us means a varied job with challenging tasks, solving both independently and as part of a larger context. You will be an integral part of our team, which includes several different professional categories, and you have great opportunities for deepening and further development. Together with your nursing colleague at the Burn Clinic, you will be responsible for leading and distributing work within the team around the patient. Personal development as well as operational development is a given for you, and you actively work with this in your professional practice. Together with your colleagues, you create a good working environment and contribute a positive attitude to the workgroup.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nurse. If you have experience in clinic work and wound care, that is excellent but not a requirement. If you have a flexible and curious approach and also good collaboration skills, we are made for each other.

Your competence

We are looking for someone who is proactive, structured, and works well with others. In addition, you can empathize with others' perspectives while also seeing the bigger picture and considering the broader context.
