Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your assignment

As a nurse, you will have a varied job, such as assessing/helping patients in telephone advice, via e-services, and in direct meetings in planned receptions. We actively work to improve patient flows through triage and booking for all professions. With us, you work closely with other professions and also collaborate with our branch in Fjärdhundra. Work may occur at the branch in Fjärdhundra.

Your competence

We are looking for a licensed nurse; previous experience in primary care, care systems, telephone advice, and triage is an advantage. The job requires you to be flexible in your working methods, enjoy taking overall responsibility, and have a strong desire to continuously develop the operations with the patient in focus. A driver's license is an advantage, as home visits may occur in the position. We place great importance on your personal qualities and ability to develop the operations together with other professional categories at the reception.

Our operations

The health center belongs to the department of Close Care and Health, Region Uppsala, and is centrally located adjacent to the hospital in Enköping. The operations also include a branch in Fjärdhundra. The health center, together with the branch, has approximately 9,000 registered patients, and at the health center, we are about 40 employees working closely together. We have a good exchange with the hospital, and there is an emergency reception adjacent to us. Our patients come from both urban areas and surrounding countryside.
