Emergency Reception in Östhammar
Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.
Welcome to a nature-close workplace in Roslagen! We are now looking for a nurse for a permanent position who wants to help build Östhammar's Health Center. The degree of employment can be discussed. Rotational shifts, i.e., day, evening, night, and weekends. Desired schedule applies. The main employment will be at the emergency reception, but other tasks may occur. Interviews are conducted continuously.
Your mission
Your mission as a nurse at the emergency reception will be to triage and receive patients coming to the reception. You will have a varied job in a team, which also includes assisting with various examinations and treatments. You may also have other tasks in other units.
Your competence
You who are applying are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience from primary care/emergency care. If you have previous experience from an emergency department/emergency reception, it is an advantage. We are looking for someone who is positive, has a flexible working style, and good ability to collaborate with others in the team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability as well as your ability and willingness to develop the operations together with the staff at the Health Center and emergency reception.
Our operations
The Östhammar Emergency Reception is located in the coastal town of Östhammar. Everyone at the emergency reception works to provide our patients with the best possible care. The emergency reception operates at the primary care level and is open evenings, nights, and weekends. We have a close collaboration with the health centers in the municipality and our healthcare neighbors. Östhammar's emergency reception is part of the Health Center.
