We are now looking for temporary and summer substitutes for Gränna Elderly Care!

Gränna Elderly Care is centrally located in beautiful Gränna, close to shops, pharmacies, health centers, the harbor alley, and good walking paths. The facility consists of six units divided into a short-term unit, two dementia units, and three units for special housing, totaling 61 apartments. We have a beautiful inner courtyard with flower beds, green areas, and a greenhouse that is frequently used during the summer months.

Your Responsibilities

As a temporary/summer substitute with us, you will have a varied and social job. Regardless of where you work, it is about providing support and creating a meaningful everyday life for the elderly. You will base your work on the citizens' needs and help them maintain their abilities. Common tasks include:

• Assistance with personal care, such as dressing and undressing.
• Assistance with personal hygiene, such as showering and toilet visits
• Service tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping
• Social activities, such as walks and coffee breaks

Who Are You?

The profession also involves working alone, which requires you to take your own initiatives, be responsive to others, and be responsible. We place great importance on your personal suitability for the job!

Furthermore, we consider it desirable that you have ongoing or completed education in the nursing program or the child and leisure program, but it is not a requirement. Experience working in care and nursing is also seen as an advantage.

You must have a good command of the Swedish language in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension, as you will need to communicate with citizens, relatives, and colleagues, as well as write and read notes in your daily work.

If you do not live in Gränna or the surrounding area, it is advantageous if you have a B driver's license and access to a car, as public transport is less frequent during evenings and weekends.

Good to Know

We are looking for summer substitutes for the holiday period between week 25 and 34. As a summer substitute, you can work full-time or by agreement, during the day, evening, or night, both weekdays and weekends. We would like you to be able to work at least six consecutive weeks during the summer.
