Description

One of our skilled nursing assistants is leaving, so we are now looking for an engaged nursing assistant who will also work in the role of team leader.

Our unit is tasked with providing accommodation for residents with decisions on respite care, which means that regular caregivers have the opportunity for relief. We also provide accommodation for residents with decisions on short-term care.

There are 12 places, of which 6 rooms for short-term care and 6 rooms for respite care.

We collaborate with the short-term department Nyhaga, which has 14 places for short-term care.

You will work alongside colleagues who have extensive experience and high competence, as the care needs of those who come to us are very varied. We work in teams consisting of nurses, rehabilitation staff, and placement coordinators.

Responsibilities

We perform standard care interventions according to decisions/goals, establish implementation plans, and delegated HSL assignments. A rehabilitative approach is our everyday practice. Our goal is, among other things, to ensure the individual care recipient's participation to contribute to a sense of independence. Collaboration with relatives/representatives is a significant and important part of the work. We aim to meet each individual care recipient based on their need for support.

We work in Lifecare SoL and HSL, MCSS, Heroma/Bemlo. The work within the social administration to introduce medication dispensers is underway so that we in Respite Care can manage the dispenser that they bring from home.

This position includes the role of team leader, which runs for periods of 6 months, and a salary supplement is provided for the role.

Qualifications

You must have completed the nursing program and have proof of a protected professional title. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a team leader previously.

You are a positive person with a good value base. You find it easy to collaborate and contribute to a positive work environment. Through your approach, you engage your colleagues and see everyone's competence as valuable for the care recipient.

It is an advantage if you have worked with welfare technology and are accustomed to using computers/systems as a natural tool.

You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language to document and read routines and instructions.
