Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The girl needs assistance and active supervision around the clock as her oxygenation can change rapidly. Being attentive and reading the girl's condition is very important and part of the job responsibilities. The work also involves being able to engage the girl in a playful manner and assist with daily tasks such as feeding, changing clothes, and going to the park.We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 5-year-old girl living in Skogås

• Has good knowledge of the Spanish language

• Has previous experience in personal assistanceIt is also advantageous if you:

• Are a trained nursing assistant

• Have previous experience with breathing machines or oxygen

• Are caring and self-assured

• Are active, initiative-taking, and enjoy maintaining a busy daily life. Personal suitability will be highly valued.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is “As long as the assistance assignment lasts”. There are two positions with the following scope and working hours:

Position 1 – Full-time (100 %)The work is scheduled on weekdays as follows:

• Monday–Friday from 07:30 to 15:30

Position 2 – Part-time (approx. 17.5 %)The work is scheduled for evenings as follows:

• Fridays from 15:30 to 22:30

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to provide an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will come if you proceed in the recruitment process.
