Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who matches the following:

• Wants to work with a 21-year-old woman living near Stadion

• Has good knowledge of Swedish

• Is non-smoker

• Is comfortable with physical tasks as the job involves some lifting

It is also an advantage if you:

• Share the client's interests, such as singing, music, and art

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is “As long as the assistance assignment lasts” and the position encompasses about 11.25%, corresponding to approximately 4.5 hours per week.

The work is scheduled for evenings with a fixed schedule as follows:

• Tuesdays around 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM, in connection with choir activities and travel to and from this. For the right person, there is an opportunity for increased working hours in the future.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
