Are you an experienced procurement professional with a business-oriented focus and good knowledge of public procurement? We offer a role where you will work strategically and operationally with the entire purchasing process and contribute to the development of Kungsbacka Municipality's procurement work with sustainability, innovation, and digitalization at the center.

The Role of Procurement Leader with Us

As a procurement leader, you will be responsible for the entire purchasing process – from needs analysis and dialogue with the business to implementation and follow-up of agreements. You will drive your own procurements within service categories and ensure that they are conducted in a businesslike, professional manner and in accordance with applicable laws.

We work in categories, and in this role, you will be a key player in our development journey where each category has a dedicated procurement leader. Together with other colleagues, you will drive improvement work, develop working methods, and strengthen efficiency and robustness in the entire procurement organization.

You will have an important role in our strategic procurement work. The role means that you, in addition to the operational procurement work, will closely collaborate with your colleagues in the category team to lead and coordinate the work and development within your category team. You will also work closely with other procurement leaders for our other categories. Together we contribute to creating an efficient, sustainable, and future-proof procurement function.

Your Profile

To succeed in the role of procurement leader with us, you have a good ability to work in a structured and efficient manner, even with several ongoing projects. You have a consultative, service-oriented, and business-minded approach, as well as good problem-solving skills. You enjoy having many contacts and are communicative and relationship-building, which contributes to good collaboration both internally and externally. You are attentive and have an optimistic attitude towards changes, and you are happy to come up with new approaches to work-related issues. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a university degree in e.g., economics, law, or public administration, or a vocational education in purchasing/procurement.
• has several years of experience working independently with purchasing and procurement.
• can apply the regulations to carry out public procurement from start to finish through experience and in-depth knowledge of LOU.
• is experienced in conducting early dialogues with the supplier market.

It is meritorious to have:

• experience in driving contract groups focused on benefit realization and value extraction.
• experience in category-based/strategic procurement work.
• experience in development/change management.
• experience in procuring technical consultants according to ABK.
