About the Workplace

On the outskirts of Mariastaden lies the service housing Patronens väg. The housing consists of eleven single apartments and currently, we have nine residents with us. Right next door, there is a pleasant outdoor environment, restaurants, and shops, as well as proximity to good public transport.

Job Responsibilities

As a support assistant, you will work closely with your colleagues and be part of an engaged team that together creates a safe, positive, and developing environment for our residents. In your work, you will carry out educational interventions based on each individual's needs, conditions, and wishes. In addition, you will also contribute to maintaining the structure and routines of the operation.

You will work with individuals with cognitive impairments, medical care needs, and outwardly aggressive behavior, both verbally and physically. As a support assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to attend the Stjärnmärkt training, which is a training program in dementia care.

You will follow the implementation plans for each resident to ensure they have the best possible life. The work is planned, documented, and closely monitored, so it is important that you feel confident in documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a high school diploma from the health and care program or has studied the child and leisure program with a focus on social and educational work. We assume you have good knowledge and experience of working within LSS previously.

To proceed in the process, you also need to have:

• experience working with individuals with both verbally and physically aggressive behavior
• experience with individuals who have cognitive impairments and extensive care needs
• basic computer skills and documentation experience
• a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with LifeCare.

Working hours: The schedule is set for day and evening shifts. We work every other weekend.
