JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant in our special housing, you will work with a professional and person-centered approach. You will meet each resident with respect, warmth, and attentiveness, adapting your working methods to individual needs and circumstances.

The role requires you to be pedagogical, have good collaboration skills, and easily build trusting relationships. You enjoy taking responsibility, working independently, and being part of an engaged team. You are flexible, resilient under stress, and have a genuine interest in developing both yourself and the organization.

We are in a planning phase to introduce a fixed care contact, where you will play a central role as the most important link regarding the resident's needs, wishes, and well-being.

Your responsibilities as a care assistant include:

• Providing personal care and support in daily life
• Assisting with meals, hygiene, transfers, and shopping
• Working based on individual implementation plans
• Participating in and performing health and medical tasks as delegated
• Contributing to a safe, meaningful, and stimulating daily life for the residents
• Always focusing on high-quality care and interaction, actively contributing to a positive collaborative climate in the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained care assistant with a protected professional title
• Ideally has specialized training in cognitive impairment and dementia
• Has experience or interest in working with BPSD
• Is comfortable with computers and mobile phones
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
